The Bronson Clinic was founded in 1925 by his grandfather and grandmother (both D.C.’s) and continued by his parents (father the DC and mother the office manager). Dr. Bronson has been in full-time private practice as a third-generation DC since 1985 and as a board-certified chiropractic orthopedist since 1992 (originally DABCO, now DIANM). His wife Martha manages the Fort Worth, Texas clinic which is now in its 99th year of continuous chiropractic service (since 1925).
Dr. Bronson also serves as a Designated Doctor for the Texas Workers’ Compensation system to evaluate injured workers for causation, disability, and impairment rating. As a Subject Matter Expert and faculty member for the agency, he serves on a panel to develop the required certification course and test. As a Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME) he performs physical exams for interstate drivers. He serves the NBCE as Chief Examiner for administration of the Part IV exam (1997 to present). Dr. Bronson represents the Texas board as voting delegate to the NBCE and FCLB. He served as a presenter during the FCLB’s 91st Annual Congress in May 2017 and remains active in district and national events.
Dr. Bronson has been serving as President of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners since 2016, his current term set to expire Feb. 1, 2027. The agency celebrates a victory over the Texas Medical Association who challenged the Board's rules' inclusion of diagnosis and nerves, and a more recent victory of the Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine who challenged the Board's allowance of acupuncture in chiropractic practice.
