Bio

Dr. Kathy Boulet is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic and has been in private practice in Maine since 1993.  In addition, she has her diplomat in Chiropractic Acupuncture and completed her diplomat with the American Academy of Pain Management.  She also completed certification in Stress Management at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center studying under Jon Kabat-Zinn.  Dr. Boulet served in multiple positions with the Maine Chiropractic Association (MCA).  She served 17 years as chairperson of the legislative committee where she successfully co-chaired the legislative efforts to address the outside attempts to remove acupuncture from the MCA Chiropractic scope of practice.  She continued to become the first female elected president of the MCA.

Dr.  Boulet was appointed and continues to serve on the Medical Advisory Board for Maine Employers Mutual Insurance Company.  She was appointed by the Governor to represent chiropractic on the Maine Quality Forum to advocate for high quality healthcare and help Maine citizens make informed healthcare choices. She has also been involved in chiropractic representation in PPO and ACO organizations in Maine. In addition, she served as a co-founder/co-owner of BetterHockey/Top Dog Training, which worked with hockey development of players from youth to college.

She served as a founding member of the ACA Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture assisting with the formation of the council and diplomat program.Dr Boulet has twice been named the MCA’s Chiropractor of the Year and has been recognized with several Presidents’ awards for her legislative efforts. In addition she has been honored as an Alternate Delegate of the Year from the American Chiropractic Association.
