A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Robert B. Sheely has been in private practice in Ohio since 1980. He has served two terms as president of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association and was named the OSCA's Chiropractor of the Year.
Dr Sheely was appointed by Governor Voinovich to Ohio's Citizens Advisory Committee for the Health Department and the Health and Human Services Department and the Quality Care Assurance Committee. Dr. Sheely was appointed by Governor Voinovich for a four-year term to the Ohio State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He was re-appointed to a second four-year term by Governor Taft ending in December of 2003.
He also served the state board as a compliance officer. He was a Delegate to the National Board and to the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board. Dr. Sheely is a fellow of the International College of Chiropractic. He has received the ACA Flynn-Lynch Award from the ACA,
He has served on many ACA Committees including the Membership Executive Committee, the Credentials Committee, the Communications Committee, the Retention Committee, the PR Marketing Committee, the Information Systems Advisory, and the Computer Technology Committee.
Dr. Sheely's other interests include website development and social media marketing while always making progress toward a “paperless practice and life” through “computer geek” forums and associations. Dr. Sheely has served as Ohio Delegate to the ACA since 2007. He resides and practices in Middletown, Ohio.
