Community Notifications Email Instructions

Changing Your Community Notifications Settings

  1. Log in to your account on my.acatoday.org.
  2. Click the down arrow next to your profile picture/avatar in the top right corner and click the button that says ‘Profile’.
  3. On your profile page, choose the ‘My Account’ dropdown from the horizontal menu and click ‘Community Notifications’.
  4. On this page, you can change your email notification settings for each community you are a member of:
    • Daily Consolidated Community Digest: you can choose the email address at which to receive these emails.
    • Weekly Consolidated Community Digest: you can choose which day to receive a weekly digest, if that is your preference.
  5.  In the table at the bottom of the ‘Community Notifications’ page, you can change your email preferences for each individual community.
    • The ‘Real Time’ setting means you will receive an email every time a new post is added to that forum.
    • The ‘Daily Digest’ setting means you will receive an email every day of all of the posts from the previous day. Click the red box in the Daily Digest column to opt in or out.
    • The ‘Weekly Digest’ setting means you will receive a weekly email on the day of your choice with a summary of the posts in that community. Click the red box in the Weekly Digest column to opt in or out.
    • You can choose to receive a combination of real time, daily and weekly digests, and you can choose different settings for different communities.
