Late last week, the Texas Supreme Court handed down a decision in favor of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Chiropractic Association, determining that rules challenged by the Texas Medical Association describing the scope of chiropractic practice are valid. The decision reversed lower court rulings, which held that the rules should be struck because they allegedly exceeded the statutory limitations found in the Texas chiropractic enabling law.
