A.Carlo Guadagno DC, CCSP, ICCSP, FICC

Dr. Guadagno is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences at National University of the Health Sciences. He maintains a private practice at Pinellas Park Whole Health Center. He practiced in Miami, Fl. Since graduation from the “Fountainhead of Chiropractic", Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa, where he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic. He has attained the CCSP ® designation (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) by the ACBSP ® (American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians). Presently is a candidate for Diplomate of the ACBSP®

He attended the University of Miami where he earned his B.S. degree in 1984. After discovering Chiropractic from treatment to a sports injury, he soon realized this was also his calling.

While practicing in Miami, he was a member of the Sports Medicine Team at FIU (Florida International University) which included traveling with the Golden Panthers Football team and providing sideline care.

Professionally, he has been involved with his local, state and National organizations for many years.

In Florida he serves as the American Chiropractic Association Delegate for the State.

He has served on the Board of Directors for the Dade County Chiropractic Society, the Florida Chiropractic Association and ACA’s Sports Injuries Council.

He is also past President for the Council on Sports Injuries, Rehabilitation and Physical Fitness of the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA).

 In 2016 he was named Sports Chiropractor of the year for the ACA Sports Council and was awarded the 2011 Sports Chiropractor of the year by the FCA Sports Council. The "Dr. Bradley Timph Award."

He has completed five United States Olympic Training Center Medical Staff Rotations. They include the OTC of  Lake Placid, NY, Chula Vista, CA. and Colorado Springs, CO. He has served athletes, not only on the national stage, but also internationally such as the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, 2011 Pan-American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, 2014 Central-American and Caribbean Games of Veracruz, Mexico, 2004 Mexico City Pan-American Championships for Sambo (A form of mixed martial arts). The Central-American and Caribbean Games of 2006 held in Cartagena, Colombia where he also served as Medical director for Chiropractic services.

 He has lectured internationally such as for the Bolivarian games in Colombia and FIFA's Sports Medicine Congress at UCIMED in Costa Rica.

He was a member of the medical staff for the 2008 Track and Field Olympic Trials held in Eugene, Oregon.

He served as Medical director for the USA Gold Cup CONCACAF Miami Venue.It was the first time Chiropractic services was included in the event.

Dr. Guadagno had the privilege of treating America’s elite athletes at the 2008, 2010, 2011 USA outdoor track and field championships held in Eugene, OR and Drake stadium in Des Moines IA .

He has served as medical staff of the AVP and NVL Professional Beach Volleyball events in Florida since 2009.
