Bio

I earned earned a Bachelor’s in Science in Physiological Science from the University of Arizona in addition to a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer West. I was the sole recipient of his class’ Virgil Strang Philosophy Award and hold a Certification in Spinal Trauma (CCST). In my early career, I focused on Spinal Corrective Techniques and rehabilitation. I am a contributing author on two studies involving Dynamic EMG and the creation of a Cervical Discomfort Scale as well as the other of the Physiotherapy chapter of the ICA Best Practice Guidelines.

In private practice, the needs of my patients dictated that I branch out into treating a myriad of musculoskeletal injuries which led to expanding my interventions to include Dry Needling. I have over 200 hours of Dry Needling and Acupuncture education, and I was the first Chiropractor and first recipient of the designation of SFDN (Structure and Function Dry Needling) Advanced Certification. I have performed this technique on thousands of patients and it continues to be an integral application in my Phoenix, AZ practice. Today, after 15 years of practice, I continue to see patients full-time, as well as promoting the Safe and Effective use of Dry Needling within the Chiropractic Profession as a Dry Needling instructor for his company, ChiroNeedle Education.
