Dr. Peter Furno

Dr. Furno is a 1969, Summa cum Laude, graduate of National (Lincoln) College School of Chiropractic, and is licensed in the States of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Colorado, California and Vermont. He was previously trained and employed as a mechanical/hydraulics engineer, (University of Cape Town and Cape Technical College), and obtained a BS (Biology) from both Indiana University and Lincoln College. He completed an 18 month internship in Santa Barbara, California, before establishing a solo practice in Decatur, Indiana (14 years). Dr. Furno is certified in Meridian Therapy (Acupuncture), Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and is Board Eligible in Radiology and Orthopedics.

In 1986 the Furno family moved to Indianapolis (Zionsville), IN, for educational priorities pertinent to their three daughters. Dr. Furno practiced in Kokomo, IN, for 14 years before establishing the first single-site multispecialty practice in the state of Indiana, in Indianapolis, that incorporated medical physicians, doctors of chiropractic, physical therapists, a clinical psychologist, an acupuncturist a podiatrist and fellowship trained pain management anesthesiologists in an adjoining Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Furno has been both a member and Board member of the Indiana State Chiropractic Association (ISCA) since 1969 and, in addition, has served as ISCA President as well as having been honored as the Chiropractor of the Year. Although retired from active practice, he presently is a member of the ISCA Executive Committee, Legislative Committee and Co-Chair of the ISCA Insurance Committee.

Dr. Furno and his wife, Pamela Steed, DDS, MSD, an Oral Pathologist specializing in TMJ dysfunction at St. Vincent Hospital Professional Building, reside in North Indianapolis (Zionsville), IN.
